Organizations that use CentreLearn can load their own training materials into the learning management system in a wide variety of file types. From the BUILD CONTENT tab, choose Items from the left navigation, then select Create to create a new item for an online curriculum (as shown in the video tutorial below). Types of items include:
- External web page using an html link
- Rich text
- Word document
- Excel spreadsheet
- Adobe Acrobat PDF
- Shockwave/Flash
- SCORM object
For CentreLearn Complete organizations our in-house production staff can convert QuickTime movies, Windows Media Files, and MP4 videos into Flash videos. The Flash videos are wrapped in a player and loaded as a SCORM object which allows administrators to track viewing and completion of the videos.
CentreLearn Complete organizations are also able to send us PowerPoint files, with or without audio, for conversion into a SCORM presentation. For a reasonable production fee, this service is also provided to CentreLearn Standard organizations.
