Test Security Features Built Into the CentreLearn Learning Management System

When building your own exams in CentreLearn, take advantage of the system’s capability to create question banks, randomize questions drawn from banks in an evaluation, and randomize the order of answers. You can also set the number of allowed attempts, passing score, display of the correct answer, and provision of feedback in the exams you create. Contact us if you have questions on how to build question banks and evaluations.

Also, you may want to implement some or all of these test security best practices:

1) Use tasking to set a narrow time frame for the completion of a training and evaluation.

2) Run reports of elapsed completion time, number of attempts, and item analysis to look for irregularities.

3) Use team learning to deliver training to a group and then require evaluation completion immediately after the team learning experience.

4) As your facilities allow, create dedicated spaces for online learning so users are able to complete tests away from group congregating areas.

5) Inform users of the consequences of cheating, investigate accusations of cheating seriously, and deliver consequences justly and swiftly.
